Adobe Flex/AIR Authoring and Development

Primarily we develop in Adobe Flex - coding in ActionScript 3 for Rich Internet Applications[RIA] development.

These Internet applications can be deployed over the Internet, or run as desktop applications as AIR or ZINC "wrapped" applications, or packaged and run as Android or iOS applications on mobile devices.

Developing in Flex further strengthens the concept of develop once, deliver to multiple devices/platforms leveraging development costs for delivery across multiple platforms:

• PC/Mac via Flash Player,
• for websites via Flash Player,
• as an AIR application for PC/Mac,
• Android apps for Android OS based phone/tablet mobile usage,
• iOS devices (ie iPod, iPad, iPhone apps).

We have developed a number of leading edge solutions, including:

• a CRM and Lead Generation system that is being utilised by Make It Happen as an internal application accessible by intranet and internet. Functionality includes campaign assignments and tracking, lead tracking, lead escalation, contact management, hours tracking, timesheets, performance dashboards.
• a Fit For Marketing application that guides SAP partners through a series of quarterly goals to enhance their marketing capabilities across the SAP application sets
• an integrated contact management and telemarketing system for Orange Business Services
• a number of complex, externally facing form driven systems, with authentication functionality
• Partner Marketing Briefcase developed for SAP (see description of desktop AIR application)
• Modified Flex based video display (sample contains 4 sample videos, repeated a number of times in the UI display)
• a very simple Body Mass Indicator Flex widget/plugin application (see to the right of page)
• Variety of exhibitions / kiosks / interactives for The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney - authored in Flash, Flex and Director
• Large screen touch panel kiosks developed for Accenture in Flex
• Flash streaming video player (developed in Flex) that "tracks" user's behaviour, such as play/stop/pause/seek/fullscreen/end and records this behaviour to our tracking package - video player example here and sample tracking report here. This example is 'skinned' for SAP web branding and also incorporates optional close captioning.
